Christopher Dulaney Reynes, age 46, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 27th, 2013 in Austin, Texas. For 46 years he brought joy, laughter, and love to his family and friends. Chris had a heart of gold and cared deeply for his family. He was born in Joplin, Missouri. Chris attended Crockett High School in Austin, Texas. He continued his education at the University of Texas and St. Edwards University. Chris obtained his Broker license and worked as a Realtor. He resided in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Chris is survived by his son Chase Reynes; his parents George and Ann Reynes; one sister and brother-in-law Evan and Brandi Wright; one nephew Landyn Wright and beloved friends. Chris was preceded in death by his sister Nicole Reynes.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held November 1, 2013 at 9:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, located at 4800 Convict Hill Road in Austin, Texas. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at the church. The Committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park. A reception to celebrate Chris's life will be held in the Johnson Hall of St. Catherine of Siena following the interment. The family has asked in lieu of flowers to consider a donation to the Chris Reynes Memorial Fund for funeral expenses and his son Chase Reynes (more information can be found on this blog).
